Tennessee football has always seem to be in the Top 3 in the SEC East almost every year since I can remember.

It's always been GA, FL, TN and each year SC swaps with someone. So that has left Vandy and Ky behind.

BUT, because of the expansion (MIZZOU) and SC becoming better each year it has to be CLEAR to everyone we can't be on the slow track. Hart was dead on. We have to move and find a coach w/ URGENCY or we are going to be a....

Constant 3,4,5 in the SEC east.

Did Dooley inherit a top 3 team? Did he inherit the talent Muschamp did at Florida, Saban at Alabama? He had worse talent that Spurrier did inheriting SC not to mention walking into a whole athletics department/trash fire. He also inherited this at a time when the SEC is strong enough that our top 5 teams could line up and probably beat the other top 5 teams in the country. This is about recruiting cycles, not instant gratification. We won't compete for Atlanta until 2015 regardless of coach.

With the right coach this team woulda been in the top 2 or 3 in the East!! This team is as talented as any in the division but the coaching staff has consistently underachieved all year!!! We shoulda competed this year for a trip to Atlanta but Dooley can't get it done!!!

I used to defend Dooley with all those things you listed above. The problem is that WE HAVE SHOWN NO SIGNS OF IMPROVEMENT over the last 3 years. Still getting beat by Florida and blown out by Alabama. I can no longer ignore the 0-15 vs. ranked teams. If Dooley is still around in 2015 (he will not be) we will not even sniff Atlanta unless it's another opening game with an ACC creampuff.

We have the talent to win some big games just no coaching. Lawyers suck but even worse at coaching. Sabin is laughing his ass off
