Yea! Really, talk about a program that has no individual imagination. I guess the old saying that imitation is the highest form of flattery, Hogwash, I say it stems from us freeing their arse from Mexico.

Smokey the Cannon Smokey the Cannon
Residing in the south end zone area at home football games, Smokey's thunderous roar is heard when the cannon fires blank shotgun shells after each Texas score and at the final gun after a Texas victory. The cannon is operated by the Texas Cowboys, a men's campus service organization.

Well, if it wasn't for Tennessee Volunteers there wouldn't even be a Texas the least they can do is pay us homage.

I find it hard that he will end up here, but IF he did our QB situation would be SICK!!! Worley & Wood would battle it out as Redshirt Freshmen in '13 if Bray were to leave early. I would trade Peterman for Wood right now.

Would love to add him, nothing bad could come out of it. Who knows maybe he'll surprise and win the starting job.

Wood has all the tools and abilities to be a great QB, but he just needs to work on his accuracy from what ive been told. Chaney would make Wood an All American imo.

He would be a RS Junior by then.

Coaches love Peterman, they probably wouldn't.

They stole that idea too. We had a cannon go off after every home game score in the late '60s.

This is a good problem to have. Think I'd prefer Peterman tho. Wood would have a much better shot at Stanford

Not me..our coach's evaluated and offered Peterman so they must realty like him.

If QB X wouldn't come because of Y and Z or any combination of the 3, I don't want that guy because as a QB you've got to have confidence and be the ultimate competitor.

Maybe he see's Bray headed for the NFL after year 3. Maybe he likes his chances of seeing playing time VS Worley/Peterman. Our WRs would have to have alot of QBs jealous and having dreams about throwing to this type of group.

Why do people keep talking about Bray leaving after 3 years. That is stupid at this point. He hasn't even played a full SEC season. He might not end up being the starter in 2012. You never know.

Got a question on his eligibility, he would have three years to play three if he came here right?

I am giving it as a possible reason Wood would consider a transfer to Tennessee. If he does not see Bray leaving after his Jr year..then I seriously doubt he would come here. He would never get to play. If he was happy sitting the bench, he would stay in Austin. JMO

It's been so long since we have had an array of elite prospects marching into UT, that I am Hun-gray. Bring em all in and let Dooley sort em out later. I also agree with your last sentence.
