Over the last 4 or 5 days i have noticed some connection issues when i am gaming online. It is happening on all my games. It seems to lose the connection for just a second then come right back. Just long enough to screw you up. I tried hard wiring and wireless. It was the same for both. The cable company says its the modem. Has anyone else ever seen this?

On one of the connection settings says something about media sharing. Make sure it is disabled. I had the same problem you are and I found a website that said to do that. I haven't had a problem since.

yeah, i have had that disabled for a while now. this just started a few days ago. it has me stumped. on cod w@w, it will glitch and move the character or give the connection interrupted screen for just a split second and then be ok.

i thought it was what utvol0427 said. when it started i went straight to the media sharing to make sure it had not got turned back on by accident, but no luck. it was disabled.

aight this isn't really a connection problem, but here's my que. my dog chewed up my socom headset, but i have another bluetooth made by gameshark. however i can never get it in sync so it'll work. the scanner never finds it. it didn't find the other one either. anybody know how to hook it up?

Usually you start the PS3 and then hit some button combination on the headset to pair it with the system. You might also have to provide a key to pair the headset. Generally it's 0000. Check your instructions that came with it for pairing directions.

well, it worked fine last night. i have come to the conclusion that camcast internet is a marginal service at best.
