Congratulations Vols on your win against the Razorbacks. and Good Luck with winning the east.

And by the way if your still wanting a new head coach---Houston Nutt has my full recommendation
(please, please take him off our hands)

Appreciate the offer but I kinda like the one we have. Yeah, I know its rare to see a Vols fan actually admit to liking the Coach we currently have.

You can keep the Nutt, but thanks anyway.

How is Nutt dumb enough to not put McFadden or Jones on that 4th and 1? I was like WTF? He makes horrible in game decisions.

I read in another thread that he has a short yardage guy that isn't McFadden or Jones. I know that sounds crazy...but apparently he makes that call consistently. And...you can't knock him for not putting Jones in - he was out of the game.

If I was a coach I would fully expect my 240 lb FB would be able to pick up 6 inches.

However, I'd probably hand it off to my Heisman candidate instead.

Hillis is good, but we are talking about the best back in the nation. I forgot about Jones being out. Nutt runs some type of sweep with McFadden and they get that yard easy. McFadden is so fast around the corners. But what do I know.:dunno:

To be fair... Dan Williams would have brought down McFadden just the same.

UT had been shutting down the corners all day.

I only watched the first half and the last 5 or so minutes of the 4th quarter but what I did see really made me wonder if Nutt was trying to throw the game?

Thanks LSP!!!!

I figured the game would be very close. I am glad I was wrong. It was nice not having to sweat it out as usual.

As far as the 4th and 1 play goes, it was the package they were using that dictated Mcfadden not being in there. I am sure there was no discussion of let's pull Mcfadden for this play. They just called the play and the players were already pre-determined based on that package.

We might take him off your hands for a charge. We could probably put him to use cleaning the seats after games.

Coach Nutt is really taking a beating from the Arky fans; it is really unnecessary for us to pile on.
