He's a hard worker, great recruiter, and a good coach. We will miss you, but you'll always have a place as a Vol with me. Good Luck. :hi:

This is his sixth job in six years, if I've added correctly. He's been moving up the ladder, so I can't fault him for another change, but the man is a rolling stone.

I wasn't even really considering he did when I started the thread. I was just being complimentary for his hard work here.

Agreed. He did a good job while he was here and you can't fault the guy for going home to his dream job. He was the 5th or 6th best recruiter on UT's staff and now he is going to a place where he can shine. I'm sure Coach O is happy for him

Guys, this is a good thing. Assistant coaches around the nation will see that a guy way down the totem pole at UT got a great promotion and will want to be a part of what we are building. Compare this situation to USC in the last 10 years.

Not me. No one can "have a place as a Vol" after less than a year. No hard feelings... bye Wilson.

If you had ANY clue how hard these guys worked in conjunction with coaching and recruiting, you might change your tune. It's your opinion of course. :good!:

You can't blame him for leaving for a better opportunity. I'll stop short of congratulating him -- he will never read it anyway, but it sucks losing him.

I bet he has a place in the heart of miss. st. fans too.

Its hard to believe this is his 3rd school in just a little over a year. Hopefully LSU work's out for him. I'm sure he'll enjoy working in his own backyard. Good luck and I wish I could say we'll miss you, but I'm sure we'll move on be just fine without you!

Not official that he is gone yet. If so, not sure that congratulations are in order since there seem to be some NCAA problems brewing at LSU.

Can not fault a man for bettering his situation.

With that said, he might be prepared to move again in a few short years when Less Brains is ran out of the Rouge.

LOL... oh, how little do you know. Very presumptuous and amazingly asinine on your part.

Every coach that has coached here in the past has a connection to UT. I am very happy that we are getting coaches that actually get promotions and more pay, because it shows how good they actually are. Also, after all the hard work he put in here, he's always going to be a Vol to me. He maybe on the other sideline and I hope they lose every game, but he's worked hard to deserve what he is getting. Once a Vol, always a Vol with me. Even Greg Adkins. :)

He never even coached there. Not sure what you are getting at with that. Reaching just a bit.
