Congratulations to Chris Lofton

A shame they didn't have the three-point shot back when Michael Brooks played. He used to hit shots from about Morristown on the map of Tennessee that was on the middle of the floor. It would be interesting to see where he would have ranked on the list.

I hate when Lofton hits a couple in a row..and then gets taken out..i think if he is on...don't take him out.

this is what happens when you have to share all the minutes with all the players, we need to take 7 and make them the main guys, everyone else can be role players, that will take care of a player that has the hot hand being taken out only to cool off sitting on the bench. too many players!!

Agreed. Have early memories of going to games at Stokely and watching Brooks hit his long-range bombs with that signature form.

Imagine if the 3-pt line had been around when Pete Maravich played. Wow.

Big ups to Lofton though - I hope he shatters Bradley's record.

Ehh, I have to say no. He needs 110 more, I believe, and that will be almost impossible to get.

imagine how much more often he would have been asked to shoot. he had absurd range.

CL impresses me with his complete game. He is a great rebounder for his size, comes up with steals and stellar assists.

Awesome player.

What if pistol pete would have had a 3 point line? Was not alive, but i have hear in 1 game he hit about 30 shots from what would have been behind the 3 line now. Averaging 44.2 a game without three point line. Amazing, but congrads 2 c-lo. I wish he could pass jj. :furious3: duke

That's 4-5 per game. Possible but unlikely.

That average depends on how many we play in the SEC and NCAAs, but I'm just guessing if he can't knock down 5+ against the likes of Prairie View A&M and La Lafayette, then I don't know he'll hit those numbers against Memphis, Xavier, Gonzaga and our SEC opponents.

I hope he does it.
