I can't help it, when I don't have a dog int he fight I'll always pull for the underdog. This match up had me torn. I wanted Manning to win, but I was ok with the Saints winning because there were three Vols on that roster. It's nice to see a team that's never won the big game win it...

Now bring on some warmer weather so I can ride because there isn't anything left to watch on TV. sports wise.

Freeney being out blew the game fpr Colts. they had 8 possesions, and the Colts offense went over an hour from half to half w/out touching the ball.

The Colts proved this season that they are capable of getting to a Super Bowl every year with Peyton Manning as their quarterback. They took a rag tag team of contributors around him and did good enough to be in the Super Bowl. Give him a healthy Anthony Gonzalez and some more young Defensive talent and he will thrive the next five years!

Go Peyton! Go Vols!

Does anyone else think race had anything to do with the majority of Tennessee fans cheering for the Colts even though more former Tennessee players played for the Siants?

If this is a serious question then i feel very sorry for you. you must be a miserable person. The reason most Vol fans cheered for the colts is because the Greatest Vol of all time is their QB!

Well I had a hard time handling it last night and I'm still in a piss poor mood this morning. And I'm sure if the Vols lost a NCG, I would be in a state of mourning for a long time. I would probably cry actually, I'm not ashamed to admit it. There's nothing wrong with loving your team too much.

Before I get hammered for this post I want to say that I have degrees from La Tech, LSU and UT and have recently jumped on the VolNation bandwagon when UT hired Coach Dooley. I am born and raised in N.O., life long Who Dat member living in Chatt. and a current Saints season ticket holder.

To all Colts fans who give excuses like Freney injury, dropped passes, onside kicks...etc.. The New Orleans Saints out played and outcoached the Colts period. Saints players stayed focused, contained the best QB/Colts offense to only 17pts, and closed out the Colts with a INT for 6 to shut the Colts out.

As somebody posted earlier it was nice to have both #1 seeds make the Super Bowl. Each team was deserving. I'm sure when Manning realized he was playing the Saints that made things much tougher for him b/c we all know he has and always will be a Saints fan. Outside, Manning is upset for the loss, but deep deep down if he loses a SuperBowl he's glad it was against the Saints.

Who Dat gunna beat da Saints????????????????

This! Ended a drive that would have put the Colts up by probably 10 or 14 with no time left in the half.

The thing that kills me is Hank Baskett is not a front line guy for KR team. He's in there 'cause they wanted him specifically for his hands. It goes to show you can out-think your opponent but if you don't execute you are swamped.

I cite them as an explanation for the result. I don't know what you mean by "excuses". It's not an excuse to say the Saints out-executed the Colts. That's saying they outplayed them.

Straight up Colts weren't built to win a title. They were dead last in rush attack and they had an average D. They had an incredible run to get to this point.

Saints took gambles and they paid off. Like the pick 6. That guy cheated and jumped the route. It turned out to be a good gamble. Manning makes that throw because he knows the guy "should" play conservative with no safety help, this is how the Colts offense avoids sacks. This is what got them here. Porter took a risk and guessed right. If it had been a double move Wayne would have been wide open by 15 yards. It wasn't. Like I said, the Saints made all the right moves.

Those three combined, multiplied by ten don't equal what Manning meant to Tennessee, just sayin. The race card is a major fail.

Colts vs. Saints

Perfect matchup.

Both teams deserve the Super Bowl Championship

New Orleans dominated 3 of 4 quarters and rightfully earned the victory.

Who Dat Nation vs VolNation in a beer drinking contest.... Hands down WhoDat Nation.

Results: One helluva Super Bowl with alot of drunk coon (cajun) asses. Who Dat!!!!!!!!!!
