Well, since the ball was spotted over the 35 the clock should have stopped but it didn't. The refs actually did us a favor letting the clock run down.

You play enough of these and they will go against you once in a while... I thought Florida was terrible before today and I still do - we are just a little bit worse. Gonna be a long year I think.

Congrats to LG, he is just a good fan who adds a lot to this board. Let's not be a-holes about this.

Yeah, give one of if not our biggest rival momentum and the big win they needed to drag themselves out of the dumps. Yeah we care, and we hate it.

Also the OP, did this loss not affect you? The negative feedback you got is because it's strange to see a Vol fan go out of their way to congratulate all three or four of our regular UF posters minutes after a heartbreaking loss.

UT isn't worse. Coaching is just terrible. Should have won that game by a couple of TD's

Good game, Gators, you earned the win in a hard-fought defensive game.

Proud of our lads even in the loss. They played hard.

I find no joy or satisfaction in congratulating another team, especially "them".. Nope I refuse to say it!!! This is VOLNATION...... whatever might be said to them of adoration should be said on one of their message boards, not here....... bitter, damn right I'm bitter!!! I'm a sunshine pumper and I have so many mixed feelings right now!!!!

Oh yeah, they still suck!!!

There were quite a few missed holding calls by your offensive line, too. Particularly in the second half.

I can play that game, too.

Someone else posted that it was a very exciting game by two very flawed teams. Totally agree with that. I Don't think either are going to have outstanding years.

Why is either fan base congratulating the other? We are both on sinking ships.

The Gators should actually congratulate us. We are closer to getting a new coach. If UT hires a decent to good coach we never lose to the Gators under old Jimmy boy.

But we won't. Florida will can butter grill and go out and get Chip Kelly or another big name coach while we will settle for some "up and comer" out of the MAC.

Thanks. Was a very intense game for fans but I think both teams have regrets and problems.

Florida just made more plays. It was a good game in the second half.
I'm usually a big critic of "gnat nuts" Jones but he called a decent ballgame. I wish he had run the ball on 3rd and goal on the 10 late in the 4th to either drain the clock down or force Florida to burn a TO. Our team definitely did not press in the kicking game and it showed today. 3 missed FGs and a KO out of bounds will not get it done in SEC play. Congrats to the Gators.
