Just wanted to say congrats on the win. I had a great trip, as always, to Knoxville. Of the 4 Carolina v. Tennessee games I've attended at Neyland, I have never once had a bad experience with the fans or anything else. The Neyland Stadium experience is big time college football. It's first class all the way and my favorite road trip.

Of course I am disappointed in the outcome, but Tennessee did what they needed to do to win and took care of business. I think Spurrier said it best when asked about the play of the team in the 2nd half and the furious comeback; "We played just good enough to lose." Maybe one day we'll get over the hump and play like winners, but as much as it hurts to say it, right now we're still South Carolina.

Good luck the rest of the way. The way things are going in the conference this year, especially the East, I wouldn't be surprised to see Tennessee in Atlanta on December 1.

Thanks man, I know that's a hard loss to swallow and I'm sure it was fun riding back with GaVol singing Rocky Top and wooing constantly.

I was with my brother at the game who is a SC alum, and he was disappointed in the outcome as well, but of course I couldn't be happier. :) SC has a tough road coming up, and as he said it, SC needs to learn to play two halfs rather than just one. Tenn isn't any better in that department either, but I would be surprised to see Tenn in the SEC champ game, I still see them losing another game. I really don't care to see LSU run all over us either.

Actually, even though GAVol is a big time fan of the Nature Boy Ric Flair, he is a "non-wooer" in respect to Rocky Top.

Your guys played one helluva second half. A turnover or two less in the first half and things could've been drastically different. Great game but I'm glad we won... :)

Finally, independent verification of my in stadium demeanor. I'll admit that I do blurt out defensive coverages and yell "BALL!" when somebody fumbles, but I never . . . ne-ever Woo during Rocky Top.

WCG, great to meet you yesterday. Also, no sane UT fan does the Woo. The only time that should be done is when 2001 fires up and the Nature Boy heads to the ring.

Then they should at least bang the drums or something. It sounds strange with a gap IMO.

You've never said it, ONCE...even if you weren't thinking and did it by accident?

The only time I woo is when Ric Flair lays a knife edge chop on someone. Inadvertent wooing is a sign of a mental disorder and should be treated medically.

By the way, I was told today that Flair is heading to TNA to do one last feud with Sting.
