When Jackson State jumped out to an early lead I said that if they hung on to win, I'd go online and buy some kind of Jackson State garb. When they were still hanging onto that lead with nine minutes left in the half, I heard myself swearing that it would be nothing but an authentic Jackson State basketball jersey, and that I'd wear it every year for the opening weekend of the tourney forever.

Then the natural order of things reasserted itself. Ah well.

Tennessee played a great game tonite but I believe it's going to end for them when they play VA. I would like to see Tennessee win but I don't believe it's going to happen. Least they're still in it unlike Duke.:ermm:

Well that's too bad, because it's going to happen..We're on our way to the Sweet 16 after Sunday. I've seen UVA multiple times this year, and we match up very well with them..

UT will win, and I don't even think it will be that close. UVA is lacking size, and they depend on their guards. While I will agree that UVA's guards can shoot the lights out, they don't create as many turnovers as they playing at the pace they play. Also, their guards have a tendency to turn it over too much.

UT will do what Bruce Pearl loves to do. They will get many more possessions, and that will win them the game.

Thanks LG, and congratulations on only needing the second half to beat your 16 seed opponent.
