You're not soft. You're tough as nails and play with a lot of heart. Congrats on a well played game and for the 2nd year, you were the best team. Now, beat USC!

As for you Crompton.... <bites tongue>

Thank you JC for bringing me back down to reality. 2 fumbles, 5 INT's in 2 games... are you trying to set a NCAA record of some type?

Listen, I feel for your team because we went through the same thing last year with Kevin Craft as our QB so I know how frustrating it can be. I think we all get spoiled when we have great QB's and then we get surprised when we don't have a great one one year in and year out.

Hardesty looked good but if your QB can't be a threat then it's tough to put together a long drive.

I'll be rooting for the Vols the rest of the year, especially next week. Good luck to your team vs. Florida.

Great game UCLA...I'll have to hand it to you, your defense came up big when it needed to. Hopefully Prince didn't lose too many teeth but I'm sure he was happy with the outcome regardless of what he left on the field (literally).

Congrats UCLA. You earned that win. A lot of people on this board will say it was because our QB sucked, our coach called a bad game , etc. It was a team effort and you can't point the finger at one person. But UCLA never quit and you earned this V. I hate to lose, but I will never turn my back on my team. Go Vols!

Wow, I'm bumping this thread for just being the most classy amongst all the sky is falling crap going on. The game was hard fought and UCLA proved to be the better team this week. Mistakes cost us this game, key mistakes mostly by our supposed starting QB, and right now its damn near impossible to support JC after today.

JC looked terrible, and who knows how much more playing time he'll get. And Kiffin even had some questionable play-calling today...This game was a reality check, we're not going to win them all, we're still going to struggle. This is still a team rebuilding into a new regime, patience and time is key. Am I happy about the loss? Hell no. I wanted a win, I wanted us to dominate. But success doesn't happen over night. Those already crying for Kiffin's head need to just take a minute to breath and realize nobody's perfect.

i agree congrats to ya UCLA ill always support my team but damn i was wishing we had a freshman QB just like Prince i would take him anyday over Crapton. That guy is the biggest headcase i ever have seen, maybe worst that Ryan Leaf. At least Leaf had a great college career.
