could someone talk a little, about this guy? i couldnt find a thread on him in the recruiting forum.

he's not a signee, he's a commit. this thread's gonna look pretty stupid ig he changes his mind and signs with Florida. anyone remember Carnell Williams?

Rod is a beast. He is playing some great competition in 5a and i believe he is a 4 year starter.

i just checked out his youtube highlights/interview and i have to say WOW!! he makes that 5a competition look like 2a. it doesnt count for too much, but he said he will stand behind his committment to us, and that he wants to build with a team and not just jump on board with a NC contender. this guy, along side of Jones, Taylor, Rogers, Briscoe, and Cottam.....:yes: i didnt see him do much blocking, though. im sure Jones will give him some pointers.

But the Caddy situation was different than the Wilks deal as far as I can tell.

IE, please give me a break. my point was that Wilks is not a signee yet. I fully expect him to foloow through on his commitment, esp since his brother was starting until his injury. However, college football is full of guys, such as Carnell, that were committed until the last minute. Nothing is final until the LOI is signed.

how is pointing out a fact, negative? by your reasoning if I point out that the sky is blue, Im being negative. you might want to consider that you find what you're looking for. ever bought a car and then suddenly you see the same car all over the place? same thing. the FACT is that you cant call a commit a signee until they actually sign.

Don't waste your time with IE. He's just trying to agitate, trying to make it sound like you were saying he was Florida signee. Everybody knew what your were talking about w/Cadillac Williams. Geez...

Rex, I'm not agitating anything here. This is a thread about congratulating a young man that is a UT commit. You say this thread will look stupid if he changes commits ala Cadillac. That is negative. If you don't see that and equate it to calling the sky blue then so be it.
