On winning the SEC East. I can't say I wish you'd won the SEC Championship (I am an LSU fan) but I do have much respect for the Vol Nation and what you guys do year in and year out. UT reminds me alot of LSU in a way... if the consistency and explosiveness that both teams have can ever show up at the same time... but teams are unbeatable and something special to watch. Not to mention our fan bases are worlds above the rest in terms of respect for the other side. Good luck to you guys against Wisconsin... but PLEASE for the love of god... beat the SNOT out of the badgers and show the world SEC is far superior to the Little Ten.

Congrats on a hard fought game. Be proud of your accomplishments. And root for us in the BCS Title game.

GEAUX Tigers!!!

Not all "other" fans are bad. LOL. I might be an LSU fan during the season but i'm all about the SEC come bowl season. Well except for Bama... but that's another story. I hope to see UT and LSU bring their A+ game this bolw season and show the world what real SEC football is about. Should be great tv.
Again congrats to your team... :salute:

If you're a Bammer hater you'll fit in just fine here...

Used to hate Auburn since it seems we're always fighting them for the WQest... but now with the Saban thing... yeah i'd like to see Bama become the new Ole miss of the SEC. Was nice watching ULM beat them. Guess that money bought them exactly what they deserved. LOL!!!

Great post LSUguy31!

The Tigers played an awesome game in the championship and I hope you play even better in winning the National Title. After listening to Herbie talk smack, I hope you guys have enough speed to keep up with the Buckeyes...cough... cough. He says they have great speed, but no one gives them credit.... yadda yadda yadda. And their O-line will blow you guys out....Hope Dorsey gets back to full strength in time for that highly-touted OSU offensive line.

What about that "backup QB" you guys showed us? What an arm? Would he be the next Jarmarus Russell? When are you guys planning a 'rebuilding' year?

Good luck to you guys. I always pulled for you guys before Miles came along. He makes it difficult, but good luck.

We played terrible ball over the last part of season but in our defense we were pretty banged up snd riddled with nagging injuries. I'm hoping this month break gives us time to work out the kinks and be 100% for the game. If we can get healthy and redevelop that step we had at the beginning of the year... OSU is in BIG BIG trouble. Key will be Dorsey getting back to a healthy playing level and then getting pressure on that weak QB.
Perriloux is awesome... just seems to find trouble all the time. If he can straighten himself up... he'll a close mimick of J. Russell. But hopefully our talent well doesn't dry up anytime soon. We've been in the top 5 in the country now for 4 years... like to see us take another jump and become a constant 1 or 2 for a while. We have a great receiving corp coming bsack next year and Perriloux will obviously be there... not sure how the D will stan up... but we look to be a great team for a while still.

Yeah Miles has given me some grey hair... but he's shaping up to be a great coach for LSU... can't argue with his 33-6 record 1 SECCG win and now 2 BCS bowls thus far in his 3rd year. I just wish he'd open up our Offense... Crowton annoys me to no end.

Okay, just squash all our hopes while you're here. We seem to be short on recievers... care to send some our way? You must have a couple of 5* getting frustrated by lack of playing time, huh?

Just stomp Ohio State so I can get some relief up here!

OSU doesn't have a mobile QB and relies on their one deminsional run game... except for the Ar-Kansas game we have dominated the run with our D all year. Look for Our secondary to control their passing game. We should be able to control them. It'll be close for the 1st half... but our conditioning makes us the favor to finish out the game.

Trivia...

Did you know LSU is the only SEC team who has lost to Ohio State in the last 72 years? Before that, they've only beaten Vandy and KY--6 times combined (1935 and earlier). Of all SEC teams to have a winning record against, who'd ever thought it would be you guys.

Settle the score!!

Yeah we lost 36-33... but thanks for bringing that up... BUT it wasn't a bowl game. LOL.

True, but Buckeye fans are notorious for bragging well beyond the realm. They talk about things that didn't go right in the locker room as why UF whipped them last year. We beat them years ago in a bowl and they complained about our cleats being too long for regulations.

You've got to put the screws to that bunch!
