3-0.Beat Louisville last night, first time Kentucky had beat a top ten team in 3 decades.I'll be the first to admit that you have proven everyone wrong, including myself, that placed Tennessee's losing woes on you. Those causes are still thriving strong at UT.Hopefully someone , somewhere wises up...........soon!
On a sidenote,Congrats to Maryville College as well, 3-0!

Not sure that there's any vindication for Sanders until he actually gets a chance to call plays and manage the offensive coaching staff again. Anybody that knew anything knew that he was at least a good position coach evidenced by the RBs he turned out at Tennessee.

How ironic.

Unfortunantly for Sanders and Brooks Kentucky will be back to the cellar next year after losing all their good offensive players.

I for one will say i was wrong about Sanders apparently he is a good young coach and Tenn. problems are truely at the top,top being Phil!It is time for him to show his loyalty to the university and resign effective as of today!Be a man Phil and accept the game has passed you by and you are to old and stubborn apparently to change with it.:whistling:

good evidence that he was shackled while on the UT staff. I'm not sold on the guy, but definitely believe Fulmer's fingerprints were all over his playcalling.

Yeah, kudos to him. he is helped by a wrold of experience on O this year, but he's getting it done. I called for big things from UK this year and actually think they will challenge for the SEC as a whole. At this point, they beat us in lexington.

Maybe it wasent Randy all long,,Maybe it was just Phil and Randy had to take the fall. I am excited for Randy.

Randy will be mayor of Lexington. UK will never be a national power....in fact there were a few empty seats in commonwealth last night, and Keeneland isn't running yet.

I will say he has worked wonders with Woodson, and as I stated before, never really had confidence in Ainge as a leader.

randy did NOT win the game for KY. he's a qb coach NOT an OC. where does everyone think randy wins ky games? that is one of the dumbest things i've ever heard

I think it shows that he was NOT the issue with the 2005 season. When we lose 2 more sec games I am pulling hard for KY to win the SECE.

It is definitely a little perplexing. He's obviously done a good job, but he has nowhere near the responsibility at Kentucky that he had at Tennessee.

Randy was a problem. Our '06 offense was essentially the same, personnel-wise from '05 but the stats werent close.
I respectfully disagree. This current management is still struggling to move the ball on offense and put points on the board in big games. The position that RS is responsible for is one of the best in the sec.

Yeah, but I think thats more of a personnel thing. There is only so much coaching to do if your line can't run block, or your receivers cant get open outside of these 5-yard slant routes.

Comparing the '05 to the '06 offense I think works well because they were essentially the same players, but with a different OC. Our '06 offense did far better then our '05.

But yes, Randy Sanders is doing a great job and its hard not to be impressed.

? do you sit Ainge this saturday to rest his fingers and roll the dice with Crompton or Stephens?

Haven't heard anything about Crompton's leg... But I think it would be a great idea to sit Ainge this week to let him heal.

Agree, rest Ainge. This will pay dividends not only for the rest of our season this year, but will also give Crompton more experience for next year. Win, win situation IMO.

These types of threads are hilarious....Randy Sanders was/is a solid qb coach but was way over his head as our OC. KY having success can be partially contributed to his being on staff as a QB COACH, but to see that as proof that he didn't contribute to our downslide is ridiculous.

please. Sanders ran the offense Cutcliffe gave him. It's not his fault he failed as OC at Tennessee. It's just more evidence that gameplan that Fulmer and Cutcliffe run is outdated.

How bout sanders be a little more creative and expand on Cuts offense i mean he did have the offense from '99 thru '05. i mean 2 runs up the middle and then a screen pass and punt doesn't cut it. i think u've lost ur mind volfanbill. i mean cut came back last year and it was night and day difference.

last year just hid how awful we were. we had enough playmakers to make enough things happen volmania. The better coaches in college football all shut us down. We haven't changed since the '90's and the rest of college football has either caught up, passed us, or worse yet, lapped us multiple times.
