Congrats to Devrin, he gets to play a game for a living. At this point in his life at least. Hope he excels.

Not only that, they eat ROUND bacon.

you know a man could make a fortune with a food truck, a skillet, and about 5k packages of Hormel Black Label bacon up there

You get a point for a touchback? Interesting.

So late in a tie game, if you can get in range for the punter to kick a touchback he can win the game with 1 point. Haha

Also makes for some interesting strategy throughout games... is it more valuable to down it inside the 5, or take a point and give it to them at (I think) the 20?

The real question is, do you try and return the punt from out of the endzone or give up the point?

Playing in my hometown! That's awesome. It'll take abit of adjustment to learn the rules but best of luck to the young man!

CFL always trips me out. They punt on 3rd down, they have a 110 yard field, receivers get a running start before the snap, & touchbacks are 1 point. Unless they changed all that.

However, I have not heard of them instituting a targeting penalty yet. Which makes the other Canadian rules tolerable. So, I will catch Devrin if I can.

It's kind of strange. I lived in Canada for 2 years in high-school. I played ball when i was there and we played on a CFL sized field with American rules.
