Back a few months ago when we were in the race for him I REALLY wanted him. I wasn't sad when we got a commit from Cade but I knew that our chances with this guy went out the window. Looks like you guys got a great one, by far the best kicker in the class.

I hope you're right. In the history of the Vols/Tide rivalry there has been more than one time where the winner of the game was decided by a field goal.

See now with the number 1 K in the nation on our side, QBs will want to play here more knowing that they dont have as much pressure to drive the ball far down the field as the would at a team like Bama with Kiffin as the K.

We would have even had a few more wins if this kid played last year. Field Goal kickers are huge in a conference with as many close defensive battles and overtimes as the SEC. Might be Kiff and Gran's best pickup yet.

I hope he's the next Fuad, but you never know. I went to a HS game several yrs. ago here in Guntersvill,AL and a kid attempted one over 60 yds; it was right down the middle but fell a little short. He signed with Auburn, but then never played a down.

Now when coach k tries one of those 76 yard field goals no one will wonder why.
