I will admit that I wanted Bob Stoops or Whittingham. But after the presser and doing a little research I am very happy to have Coach Dooley. Yes, we will struggle the next couple of years, and that is our fault, but we will be back if we get behind our coach and give him time to get his system in place and I believe he will do a good job of recruiting. I just hope Vol fans give him time and a chance.

1) He can recruit. Sure those recruits came a lot because of Saban but Saban won't hire just anyone to be his recruiting coordinator.

2) He has class. He is very polite. He will not embarrass the university with stupid comments. My favorite quote is "I will not sell this university in a sound bite."

3) Tennessee fans need to realize that we are not the powerhouse that we once were. Big coaches were not banging down the door to coach here when it opened up. Double D will turn out to be a great hire IF we give him time to rebuild. We will be back and I am glad that it will be with a real man as our head coach. Not a loud mouthed little boy.
