Played decent. Showed a good arm and quick release. Needs to work on decision making. The offensive game plan was offensive. They did not help him at all. Our offense has no identity or rhythm at all. I don't know who is really calling the plays but it is not working.
Yes ma'am... Nick did a super job and I pray he starts against Georgia.. please Coach don't put Crompton in... I sure could see a different strength in our team tonight too, we can recover people...
GO VOLS.....
GO BIG ORANGE
PS... we were unable to go to the game cause DH had to work....
The helmet was kind of sad...but it does show heart - though I personally think someone told him to keep it on because he might go on at any moment, just to keep his ego intact (either family or sports psychologist...)

Nick had a pretty good game for his 1st outing considering his experience. Needless to say, the stakes go way up next week. Congrats Nick and enjoy this game.
The defender grabbed his arm while he was pulling back to throw...yes, he should have rolled left to avoid it.....but to say he "dropped" the ball is ridiculous, IMO.
that's not what i said. it's just not fair to judge him on that one play. even the best qbs get blind-sided sometimes.
i will say this, if stephens didn't hit moore for that td we very well may have lost that game. be thankful that ut had a qb that had some accuracy on his passes tonight, especially with the deep ball, instead of complaining about his play. it was his first start. give the guy a break. geez....
