One loss at a tough play to play and you're ripping them. That's stupid.

I didn't say anybody was "stupid". I just think it's useless to say "Oh yeah, you're still not good and we're overrated so your win wasn't that great."

Like someone else said they live and die with the three. Hopefully the refs will give us all the calls in tba like kentucky got. Maybe we can mug them and the refs will look the other way like tonight.

this is one of the worst posts i have seen in a while. Im pretty sure we won a grind it out game at Xavier, we beat Ole Miss on a last second shot, and Im pretty sure you could call the Ohio State game a grind it out game. Like said above 3 games since Thursday, thats a lot. Congratulations to Lofton on his record.

How can you start a congrats thread with a note that the winning team is sub 500? You probably want to fire Fulmer as well.

What a idiot. Tennessee is a damn good team and will go far. If anything i think this loss could help us in the long run more than hurt. Rankings mean jack, its the last game in march that matters.

Dont talk about somethin you dont know about man... Kentucky came out looking to steal our thunder and they did... I do believe if the refs had let us get physical like they were letting Uk get physical with us it would have been a different game completely... You just wait till Uk comes to Knoxville it might as well already be over because of the hurting we will put on them... Bruce will have his team playing tennessee basketball again in no time... Losing to Kentucky doesnt make us overrated by any means, its conference play, alot of crazy stuff happens, with all the momentum kentucky had we should be proud of our guys for not backing down and at least trying to hang in there, just wasnt our night

Until Chris Lofton starts to OWN this Tennessee basketball team, they're never going to be better than elite eight, and only that far depending on the match-up they get.

This team is nowhere near national title contender until they get a true star player. Lofton in a slump has been good for providing background players, but from here on out he or someone else needs to put up 25 in every big game.

Edit:I'd love for the star to be Prince or T. Smith, btw, but neither of them is ready for it.

agreed, the inability to rebound and lack of a reliable inside offensive presence is troubling, the 3's aren't going to fall every night, not a sign of good things to come in march. if we can't even win against a mediocre at best KY team how can we ever hope to stand toe to toe with the likes of memphis, kansas, and NC?

What's so dumb about saying this team is overrated? This team is indeed overrated. Kentucky is 8-9, nothing dumb about that. I congratulated them and made two points about how this team plays, out-of-control on occasion and obviously, as they proved tonight, can't win a game where it isn't up and down. I don't see anything stupid, dumb or whatever else about that post.
