Come on UGA, you all beat us. Of course so did UCLA, and NIU hung with us most of the game....you just got a W, that's it..move on to an important game.

Every SEC win is important..........as is every yd of passing and running (not meaningless):hi:

I agree, I'm just saying this season, beating us isn't something I'd gauge my team on. We seem to make it a lot easier for subpar teams to look good (NIU,AU,UCLA) and we definitely make it easier for our opponents to win this season. You all won, that's what counts. Doesn't matter if it was pretty or not.

I agree 100%. UGA is far from a powerhouse. A few breaks here or there the game would have been a lot closer.

There are a lot of would haves, could haves, etc. in this game. Tennessee still played like crap as we all know, but what really got me about the game is how lackluster Georgia played. I think we all knew UGA was going to win this game going in, but I'm amazed at the "payback" that UGA gave UT; it was a win for UGA, but it certaintly didn't feel like payback for the past two years...

I don't think "payback" is something that Richt coaches. I think he, like any good coach, emphasizes beating the team in front of you. If you do that even by a small margin, everything else will take care of itself. It's called focus and it's something that's difficult to get 19 year-olds to do.

I think UM has payback in mind when you go up against his gators this year.

after the storming the field antics last year, you don't believe Richt is into head games about the opponent? That's crazy talk.

Although the big baby urban is still whining about that antic from last years game. I am sure he will make that evident before this years game. Go ahead and send the KY to Athens...

Where did you get "head games" from my post? I know for sure that he coaches focus as I am very close to a player who just graduated. As far as the celebration against FL that got everyone talking, he told his players that, paraphrasing: someone better get a celebration penalty after our first score. He didn't know the entire team would, but the Dawg Nation is glad they did. But I don't care to see them do it again......ever.
