hello,

Sorry for intruding on your board, I just saw that Lane Kiffin was hired as the Vols head coach. I think that's a great hire for you guys/gals. He can recruit really well, he brought in some of our best players like Dominique Byrd and Sedrick Ellis and Brian Cushing. His play calling is great, he actually called most of the plays in 2005, and Pete Carroll just gave a final "yes" or "no" on the call...of course we know his father and the tampa-2 defense. I know Pete Carroll really thinks alot of him, so I would say things are definately looking up for Tennessee football!

If you could get coach Orgeron also that would be awesome..coach O is a helluva D line coach, he was with us in 2002 and 2003 when we had Mike Patterson, Sean Cody & Kenechi udezi..he recruited all those guys, also. He is one of the most fired up people you will ever meet...he must jump up and down100 times per day...he really is a great motivator..

I hope that Gator laughter turn's to tears in time...No matter who We would've hired, Nothing topped the ZOOK hire they made.

Yeah I am excited about seeing some fire on that sideline..Coach O is a demanding son of a gun and I think He's going to make our players better and better.

i am sure if lane brought his wife on the sidelines there would be alot of fire and make our players better and better and better and better :)

Thanks everyone...I am not Jimmy sexton, I am just a USC fan from California. I found your board on Google.com. Just wanted to say congrats, USC had some REAL down years in the late 90's under Paul Hackett, and before that Larry Smith who just passed away, unfortunately. And we don't discuss Ted Tollner...haha.

Looks like the ship is righted, go vols just don't beat us in the NC game :eek:))

Gator fans are more than just a little unsettled that they don't have Phil to kick around anymore. All that chatter means their nerves are showing...
