Congrats, but Hurd got benched and he knows it

Yeah, I don't think this has anything to do with his fumble.

He played afterwards. He either popped off at the mouth on the sidelines or is injured. I seem to recall Danielson pointing to a hit in the head at some point, but maybe I'm confusing that with a hit to the head on Dobbs.
I think he popped off. I'm glas we have a Coach that sends a message. Also, if he got hurt then never showed. Wonder if his Bell got rung.

90% sure that was a benching due to the careless place that cost us a sure touchdown. Butch Jones will not tolerate showboating on scores. He has been asked several times about that exact type of thing and has made it plain that it is completely unacceptable. There was no sign of an injury.

90% sure you're wrong.

Nonsense! It had EVERYTHING to do with his ego fumble!

Coaches played the hot hand.

Hurd is still a big part of this team.

Not a sh=t should be given about the RB hierarchy at the moment though.

So the coaching staff waited a quarter and a half and him scoring a TD to bench him for the fumble? Lol Makes sense

Also, I didn't record game. Didn't Hurd run onto field to celebrate? I saw a number one run across the screen.

Had to be..... Hurd doesn't seem to be that type of player

Yeah.....he looked kinda glassy eyed there on the bench. Wasnt focusing on anyone. Just staring blankly.

In the olé days, we would have said " Jalen doesn't know if he is washing or hanging out."

I thought I saw him get dinged on the play where he landed awkwardly on his helmet and then spent an odd amount of time trying to get the grass clods out of his facemask. He came off to the sidelines but he looked a little lost.

I made a remark to my gf that he looked a little woozy.

While I am at it, let me make a political comment.

We just witnessed literally one of the greatest UT victories of all time, in a manner that thrills a true football fan down to their very soul.

And you f--ing want to b*tch about Hurd,

Jesus H. Christ

Am I missing something here? Political?

Trump called Butch and said to play Kamara because he was actually doing more than starting his runs off ungodly slow and then falling down as soon as he makes contact.

Hurd just had a bad game, it happens.

Just saw the replay of Hurd's TD catch.... Have to admit he only pulled up once he was IN the endzone.

Must be some kind of "bell got rung" at some point that I missed.

After seeing all of the not top 10 plays, you would think to not let up for even a split second. But he's a smart guy who learned a valuable lesson. I doubt anyone on the team will let up if they wind up in a situation like that.

Edit: Just saw the top post. Hope he's okay.

Jones decides to flash his balls by benching Hurd, but he runs up the middle three times EVERY time he has a chance to win a game with this offense. His ballsy moments are misplaced.

Injured but hey every single one of your posts are negative so why not make crap up to suit your agenda,

Could be as simple as Alvin was balling out and he's earned the trust of the coaches.

I just heard an interview, saying Hurd was 1/11 on the final kick-off return, in there to help make a play with Berry.

I don't care if it was due to injury, running his mouth, or anything like that. Giving Kamara more opportunity to run the ball it's better for the whole team. There should be a 50/50 split between those two running backs on carries. Hurd should not be running the ball 80% of the time.

That wasn't showboating. Just lackadaisical play. Definitely benched regardless.
My question is this, is this what it takes to get Kamara some touches. Total failure on Debords part. He's terrible. Plain and simple. This shouldn't have been close.

I think Kam just had the hot hand the game dictated. Hurd is a beast and I think he just simply got blindsided. It's a learning experience for him.
