Congrats, but Hurd got benched and he knows it

I think he got benched because he pulled up going into the endzone on his TD catch just like he did when he fumbled. Sideline commentator kept saying she never saw any medical attention for him which kinda rules out concussion protocol.....

Yeah, I don't think this has anything to do with his fumble.

He played afterwards. He either popped off at the mouth on the sidelines or is injured. I seem to recall Danielson pointing to a hit in the head at some point, but maybe I'm confusing that with a hit to the head on Dobbs.

Uh. No he didn't. Danielson even commented on it. He ran hard to the end on second TD.

I think Kamara was just on fire and we needed speed in the game.

He was up ready to go wth his helmet on at the end. I don't think it was injury.

He played after the fumble

90% sure that was a benching due to the careless place that cost us a sure touchdown. Butch Jones will not tolerate showboating on scores. He has been asked several times about that exact type of thing and has made it plain that it is completely unacceptable. There was no sign of an injury.

I wasn't wondering why he wasn't playing. Weird. But I don't even care right now! What a finish!!!

While I am at it, let me make a political comment.

We just witnessed literally one of the greatest UT victories of all time, in a manner that thrills a true football fan down to their very soul.

And you f--ing want to b*tch about Hurd,

Jesus H. Christ

I think CBJ expected him to show some sprint when he caught that last TD to make up for the goof earlier and when he didn't see it, he pulled him.

Edit: coach said he was hurt--lower extremities.

Nobody is b*tching about anything.....

This is speculation pure and simple. Curiosity. Nothing else.

Give him a break! He was celebrating wildly and as happy as anyone at the end of the game.

Jones decides to flash his balls by benching Hurd, but he runs up the middle three times EVERY time he has a chance to win a game with this offense. His ballsy moments are misplaced.
