Conflicting rumors all over the place...(Kevin Sumlin)

Until he does a decent job with out one of the best QBs all time that doesn't matter he has played no one. And you really think that system would work here?

It isn't like Case Keenum was this highly regarded phenom coming into college. He's a product of his system.

There is another reason behind this thread if you can guess and its not to troll. It has a very specific reason. Its to prove a very critical point

Can any of you guess?

We're talking about a mid major loser and a mid major winner. It's not like it's some random tossup.

Exactly, but that's hard for an excuse-ridden group so hellbent on what CDD will do, they don't have time to take note of what he or someone else has already done.

And Dooley lost to Idaho, Fresno State, and Utah State in the same year. Not exactly football powerhouses.

Ding ding ding. You can argue that Sumlin isnt the right guy to replace Dooley, but there is absolutely no argument as to who is a better coach

I am not saying we should hire Sumlin but to agrue the original post, Sumlin doesn't use retarded analogies, war stories, and dogs to try to get his team ready to play football. These are 18-22 year olds who play for UT, not Harvard. Also, Sumlin wins, even if its against bad C-USA teams, unlike Dooley who couldn't win against WAC teams. Houston would have beaten the ever living shat out of Kentucky. I am not in favor of hiring Sumlin but he has more potential than Dooley.

Pay Sumlin... that probably leaves enough to get Chief back... and we're competing next year instead of talking about a recruiting class.

Sumlin also isn't losing to teams he should be beating, publicly **** talking his team, lost more than Keenum in the year in question, and has a winning career record. I honestly don't care if you think Dooley should stay, because I can see the logic behind it, but he is a bad coach and there is nothing you can show me to prove otherwise.
