I'll freely invite the wrath of non-nashvillians here but I have to say that other than the occasional "megatour" (had to go to Miami to see the Police this Summer) I can see better quality of music for free/cheap on any given night in Nashville, TN than most people can see for any price anywhere else in the world.

As a Nashvillian, I'd have to agree.

Like bluegrass? Check out the Steeldrivers.

Anybody been to the Pink Floyd Experience? Is it worth the 40 bones a ticket?

I have seen The Machine twice. They are ok, but I have talked to a few people that have seen this and they say its awesome. It had better be real good for $40 tho.

Just saw that Kid Rock is at the arena in March. With Rev Run and Dickey Betts. That show will be _insane_.

The Breakfast Club is at BlueCats in the Old City tonight. Anyone who hasn't seen them is missing out, extremely good 80's band.

I'm debating this. Saw them last year. However, I think the wife may spend the money on Second City.

No. I was there every week it seemed during the Electric Ballroom days. I wonder if they've changed things around. I actually played harmonica on that stage with the Honeyrods from Nashville mid/late 90s.

I always liked it unless it was sold out packed. Dave Matthews and Phish had some great shows there along with plenty more...

As far as free parking for football games, the Electric Ballroom parking lot is the best place. Formally the Disc Exchange parking lot in SoKno was the best, but I hear they now tow.

I've got tickets tonight for Van Halen in Orlando. Recently stopped seeing the woman who would have been my date, so now I'm sort of stuck. Can't decide whether to go on my own or not....

ROBYNS UNCLE IS GOIN TO.

Are you and Robyn going? Tell you what. I am seriously tired from work. My seats are in the second level, but facing the stage. Cost me about $180, total. You want 'em and I decide not to go (will know in an hour or so), I'll sell them to you for half that. I can meet you at BWW to give them to you.

I'm still undecided, but if you guys want to go, that may make up my mind for me.

7:30. My tix are Section 214, Row R, Seats 5-6. Parking is a bitch so you need to figure on getting to the area of the arena (or maybe parking downtown) around 7.

I was looking on Ebay (not that you could use that today to get tickets). But they weren't selling all that great and I have a feeling that if you went to the show you could probably buy tickets there for about half price. So if you wanted to go and get better seats than mine, you could probably do it for just a little bit more.

Up to you.

FYI, I have been watching youtube a bit and people have been sending videos in of the show. Pretty impressive. Eddie is still one of the best around, that's for sure.
