Concerns

My own personal movement started 3 days before Butch was hired the same year he lost to the coach Tennessee fired.

My decision.

Everyone was busy sunshine pumping and singing 3rd down for what, talking about energy vampires, and nega-vols. 🙄

So, your position is it does nothing and you haven't purchased tickets to the game but are boycotting. Cool

#empty neyland isn't a bad idea. The players will get it. It's a way to show UT's admin. a glimpse of the future because that is what is going to happen eventually anyway. Every UT fan has lost confidence in CBJ's ability to hang with the big dogs in the SEC. The games aren't even exciting anymore. Dobb's in 2016 made us exciting by getting outside and running or buying more time to get a pass off. Maybe JG will get better but at this moment he isn't fast enough. I'd take it upon myself to get outside the pocket and then throw a pass or run. Seven sacks against UK and LSU and Vandy still to play. Both those teams have adequate defenses. DeBord and Dobbs bailed CBJ out and his chance to go get a top notch OC our "caretaker" blowed it. Most on VN know why.
I did take it upon myself to read a thread this weekend about what kind of offense CBJ is running and to make it short it is similiar to B.Kelly's at ND, (CBJ's mentor), but Butch tweaked it to his liking and won't let anyone deviate but that's exactly what he did. CBJ deviated from B.Kelly's offense and this season ND's in the hunt. We're toast because of the lack of creativity. Every DC can easily scheme to stop what little bit of offense we can muster. Look for several defenders to be across from T.Smith against S.Miss because running behind him was our bread and butter against UK. Of course a good offensive coach would use that to run "play-action" type plays off of it but not this guy. Just watch and see what happens. Never seen anything like it in all my born days.

Revenues have already been collected for sold tickets. TV revenues will benefit in the future from additional eyes.

Dumb movement is dumb movement. You have zero impact on dollars for the 2017 season.

Come Christmas we shall all be past this.

While I'm torn on how to feel about the whole thing... it has to start somewhere if people want to use their wallet to show the administration how they feel. People on here say that everyone in the administration knows how the fan base feels. Personally, I'm not so sure. A lot of them are probably safe in their little bubble atop their ivory tower of academia. Many likely don't care about sports like we do. They don't likely listen to the same broadcasts or read the same news sites we do. Dollar signs are all they likely care about when it comes to our athletics.
