I am actually in the market for a new laptop. I'm not doing anything special. Not a gamer and I don't really do any photo or video editing anymore so just something to watch Netflix and other movies on and surf the net. What are the suggestions?

Haha nah.

Always some ad for Adobe or search conduit or the like. My pc is constantly telling me the script is not working???

If I visit redbox for example it ends up closing out from the over load of ads. Freaking ridiculous. The PC is about a year old.

A nicely loaded out dell ( built per my specs) and is super fast.

I'm not necessarily a fan, but if the above is your criteria then I'd consider looking at the Chromebooks.

My apologies... While I don't edit photos and videos nearly as often, I still want the ability to do so when/if I need to. I want a true laptop, I just don't need a super powerful one.
