Component Video Switches

Anyone have any experience with any or recommendations?
About a month ago I bought a Nyrius SW201. I chose it for a couple features... 1) Includes optical switching 2) Includes a remote.

However it is NOT a 1080p switch (can component even do 1080p?) it is 1080i/720p.

I'm very happy with it. I have my HD cable box/DVR, Xbox, and Xbox 360 connected to the three inputs via component and fiber optic. Programmed my harmony 550, and the input switching is far quicker than using different inputs on my tv. Can't be happier for the $50.

Yes, component wires can carry 1080p. X360 can output games as 1080p via component, but not movies.

I prefer HDMI to component, I feel it can do a little bit better of a job.

Terk makes a pretty good auto HDMI switcher.

If you're going with an HDMI switcher, might want to look at a new 7.1 audio receiver with HDMI switching.

Troof. I do like the Harman Kardon AVR247 as a basic 7.1 channel set.

The real problem, though, is getting something with true 7.1. Or finding room for that damn many speakers.
