Anything that I left out let me know.

Improved in almost every category from last season so far. Solid guard play and having better bench players are the cause of this. Hopefully we can take this and head to B4A and make it to the championship game and have a fighting chance to get a win. GO VOLS.

Stokes is shooting .80% from the FT line so far this season. He was shooting .588% this time last season.

The way we are taking care of the ball has been amazing really. Offensively I think we are playing very well, rebounding and defense still concern me some, but that's opposite of usual so hoping we get that fixed.

Yeah I wish I could find per 36 min numbers but it's impressive I don't care who you are playing averaging below 10 turnovers with a two new PG's and a post player returning from injury is impressive. We are attempting more shots/ points per possession I would venture to guess too. So that speaks to taking care of the ball.

Rebounds concern me also. We mentioned this yesterday in the game thread. I thought it would improve a lot with the return of Maymon. Can someone try to find a stat comparison of our guard rebounds from last year to this year?

McRae and Richardson's rebounding numbers are down almost 5 rebounds a game. Our bigs are doing a great job of rebounding, our guards not so much.

Gotta wonder if that's a result of Martin wanting to play a more up tempo pace? Maybe they are trying to position themselves for transition baskets?

Yea Martin mentioned this recently, said that they're leaking out too often and that's why there's been a lot of long offensive rebounds for opponents.

I think it's the product of having a confident PG who sets the tone early. Barton and Thompson both do this much better than Golden.

But...but...but...I thought Martin sucked, couldn't coach up players, and we saw the exact same thing as last year. Are you telling me folks like Vols30 and all were wrong?! Surely not...
