I understand he.could fall into a soph slump and let it get to his head.or simply not improve.
However if you had only seen him in that game you would have thought he was the worst kicker ever. Yet I'm not worried about him after this game because I know he will be a very good kicker for UT.
The pass rush doesn't worry me. Barnett and Maggit will be really good again. The DT position has improved/upgraded. We saw several of UTs best players not have a good night. The only concerns I have are Moseley and MLB.
Another example, if Pig drops a few passes next week, I'm not concerned at all. However, I'm really hoping P Williams and JJ get things going and not have the receiving inconsistencies that really hurt some.of our.guys last year.
BTW, I can't remember which game that Norths season ended last year, but think about how handicapped the passing game was for Dobbs.late in the year. Other than Croom, its a full stable ATM and I'm excited about that. (That was.extra at no charge).

I wish I shared your thoughts about Medley. Unfortunately he is a short yardage kicker, horrible outside of 35 yards. Now he is horrible even in short yardage. Right now he is a choker and I hope he makes me eat those words.

Apparently I missed a lot. My DVR didn't get anything past the rain delay. I saw the first attempt but what else happened as far as field goals that has some thinking his?

Obviously you're a short minded poster. To say he is horrible in short yardage only shows you don't know what you're talking about. Only miss one inside 40 last season and with one miss inside that Saturday makes him 18 of 20 from inside 40. Maybe you are a young poster, if so I will give a pass on you're lack of knowledge.

His 1st FG try last year was a dud too...he didn't miss too many after that

Medley is 1 in 7 outside 40 yds. That could cost us a game... especially when recent rivalry games (like UGA and UF) have been decided by 3 points or less.

Medley will be fine. First game jitters is all. He was fine last year and I am sure he will get back on track.
