Comparing Josh Dobbs and Chad Kelly vs. SEC competition

You know what, I take that back. Not only is Kelly 10 times the better passer, he's by far the better athlete and runner. It's not even remotely close. Dobbs can't hold a candle to him and the only reason Kelly didn't run for at least 1,000 yards and 20 tds last year is because Freeze screwed him over and made him throw the ball all the time.

I think Kelly easily wins the heisman this year after throwing for 7,500 yards and running for another 1,500 because he's losing so many of his OLs and will be forced to scramble so much.

He then, of course, after leading OleMiss to an undefeated 15-0 national championship season, will be the number one overall pick.....so much so, that the NFL expands the draft by a day to Wednesday, which will be declared "Chad Kelly Number One Overall Pick Day"....a day dedicated just to him and his selection.

There we go.....the D4H way.

So when met with facts you run away.

Good.

Goes to show you have no serious response to my counter points.

Dude, you ae absolutely delusional. Kelly is far and away the better passer and it is not even close. Dobbs was the 7th rated passer in the SEC last year and the competition was not that strong. You have even stated that "Dobbs is like a 3rd running back", well sorry to tell you this, but, we need a 1st QB, not a 3rd running back.

You talk all the time about looking at film, well, look at the footwork, Kelly is by far superior, hence why his completion percentage is greater. How many bounce passes did Kelly throw on screen passes vs Dobbs?

Look at the release, Kelly 's release is about a second faster with a higher release point. Dobbs tends to wind up when he is in the pocket. Again, this contributes to the higher percentage.

Arm strength, no contest, Kelly throws on a rope, Dobbs lobs it, Look at JD V the throwing challenge, then look at QD. That is the difference between true arm strength and just being able to sling it 60 yds. Kinda like Nolan Ryan vs a center fielder.

Lastly, Dobbs has to have the receiver open to throw it, Kelly, throws them open, that is the true measuring stick of an elite QB, vs, a good one.

We'll see whose right soon enough.

I trust my eyes. Dobbs is the better passer. Kelly is a system player who will be exposed at the next level.

Whoah.
The heat off of that one gave me second degree burns on the way by.

Edit: he already brought out the "watches a lot of film" response.
I'm thinking it's from Nickelodeon but still, it's film.

No. You have no legitimate counterpoints. When you're presented with empirical data all you do is say "your problem is that you rely too much on statistics". But then when you think, erroneously, that it benefits you, here you come with threads based solely on numbers.

Your "facts" are skewed and cherry picked and they're wrapped in so much subjective opinion and hyperbole.....thought I'd give you a taste of your own medicine.
