What the hell does this have to do with ANYTHING that is relevant to Vol football? We already KNOW this.
I mean how can this team put up the offensive numbers that it does and still LOSE? The special teams stink. The corners can't TACKLE. The defense cannot stop the run.
Dooley ,as a head coach, is a dog that can't HUNT.

Probably this

Derek Dooley ,Tennessee (2010-2012) 14-19 = .424

I think that means he is our (Vol football) coach. I could be wrong, though.

Lots of people say Dooley is our Zook or Shula. They both won a bunch more games. Shula was in a comparable situation off of probation to our three coaching change attrition.

Aw c'mon guys, really now, his name somewhere near the bottom of a stat chart is flogging a dead horse. It signifies only what everybody knows; he's not up to coaching this level of football.

Neither were the guys on the list. I tried to even the playing field and he just barely beat out Croom

When I see those numbers, it makes me physically ill. Like several other games, the Vols were close enough to win at the end and then couldn't seal the deal. They lack the killer instinct Pat Summitt struggled to get her recent teams to develop. Without that killer instinct, they will never get "over the hump" and win what Ainge called "games they shouldn't win". I don't see this team beating anyone they can't out talent. Takes me back to Fulmer's last few years. Talent = wins. When it comes down to coaching, UT loses with the current staff.

If they make a change, I hope they keep the S & C coach. I think he is doing an awesome job...and maybe CJG. He is All Vol and I think RBs are making progress.

dooley lovers argue that if and when he ever achieves mediocrity, we ought to rally behind him. i'll agree this far--mediocrity would be an achievement for him.

Frankly, I can't get enough of useless stats
