Why the hell would any Vol fan want a strong SCar team again? Makes no sense. Hell, maybe we should just hope Harbaugh will just resign from Michigan and coach Vandy next year. Hopefully Urban Meyer just says screw you Ohio State and replaces Stoops at Kentucky.....hey, if we're lucky, perhaps Bill Belichick wants to give it the old college try and take over some other SEC East program.

Me personally, I want to see Tennessee have every chance, every opportunity/possibility to win as many games as possible.....and Thad less likely if Fuente takes over the SCar program.

So because he has had success at Memphis, he will automatically succeed at SC? No disrespect but thats faulty logic. Why do you just assume that about Fuente? I am just curious. Is he a good coach? Yes. Does that mean he would walk into the East and be a force? Absolutely not. I am personally not afraid of Fuente at all. Nor would I be afraid if we played Memphis this year.

And yet you would be one of the many on here that would point to "rebuilding" next year when he beats us in year 1, while we have a coach in year 4 still trying to figure things out. Talk about faulty logic.

Don't try to quieten the " for sure loss" folks please.
Fuente may end up in the SEC.
I'm superstitious and the last time I read about the guarantee of a loss was last week and I loved how that ended.
So in the name of superstition, please let the guarantees flow!

Maybe, maybe not. I will admit that I have been all over the place with my thoughts on this team and Jones. But so have many others. I dont believe Fuente would beat us at SC in his first year. I am not sure if he ever would. But I am certainly not scared of him coming into the SEC. Bring him on. Hell bring on Memphis this season. I am up for it.

It's not about being "personally afraid" of him or anybody else. What does that even mean? We're not talking about a fist fight. We're talking about a coach who has turned one of the worst, most dysfunctional football programs into a 6-0 team who just beat the crap out of 13th ranked team in the country....the same team that just beat Alabama. Why in the world would anybody want that guy to take over and one of our rivals who stand between us and success? Personally, I'd rather SCar hire their very own Derek Dooley....a guy who has a track record of losing, not a guy like Fuente who's been nothing short of a miracle worker at lowly Memphis State.

some of you really kill me....yes, coaching matters but in the end player execution is the freaking KEY!

most of your flavors of the week are getting handled...in a major way this week.

It's college football...$hit happens sometimes....and in the end one or two great plays can, and do make the difference in a game.

Memphis executed with a lot of walk on guys. Either they are the most underrated group in the country or they have been coached up by a really good coach.

Ole miss did absolutely nothing before freeze took over. They have knocked off the top sec team twice and have had the best recruiting classes in school history. So average? Who are you trying to fool ?

Other than those 2 bama wins he has done nothing. So you acknowledge is great recruiting classes. These managed to get him a beatdown by Memphis. Great coaching.
