Let's show him how quiet we can make that stadium and let him long for being back on rocky top.

What would you expect him to say? "The place that employs me is not as good as other places?"

Seriously, what did you expect. I'm sure he's still very bitter about the way things ended in Knoxville.

I ran into him in the Atlanta airport a few years ago and walked up and introduced myself. We had about an hour or so to kill and we sat down next to each other at the gate and chatted. It was obvious he was hurt deeply and was somewhat bitter. We spent a few minutes talking about how it ended, talked about LSU (he was their DC at the time) and his kids who still lived in Knoxville.

That's his current job dont expect him to say anything else really. Short of being at Vandy and saying that.

Might have to pull his VFL card if this keeps up. Seriously though what's he supposed to say " Neyland stadium is way more live than us".

Yea it would be like him telling everyone he will call plays to benefit UT.

Money talks obviously! Chief is not biting the hand that feeds him, move along. You pay a hooker the $s she wants she'll moan and say, "Yes baby you're the best!!"

I remember hearing about how great the A&M fans were prior to the Cotton Bowl match up w/the Vols. Heard how they stand and "yell" the entire game regardless of the score. They are great fans and Kyle Field is special but that day, a lot of them went home in the 3rd quarter.

BTW. I don't blame John Chavis for his comments. They pay him well and he is a loyal man. Still root for him, just not this week.

To me.. All that says it the stadium was dead to begin with, then had to come alive during the game after their team did something.

Sorry but Neyland Stadium never needs to "come alive"

We bring the noise from minute one...
