Unless he gets a HC spot or gets big money elsewhere, I don't see him leaving. He's Cuban and Cuban's love Gatlinburg and anywhere in Tennessee and Chattanooga too. I lived in Miami 28 years and can't tell you how many Cubans have told me they love Tennessee when asking where I was from originally and they even refer it to Cubanburg! lol

The 8th McDonaldā€™s All-American & counting to wear a LV jersey under Coach Kim since the hire was made in 2024 is headed to Rocky Top. This isnā€™t about one recruit or a few bringing the LVs back this program was restored to prominence based on several events that have unfolded since the CKC hire. I know the legendary Coach Pat Summitt would be proud to see her LVs resurgence to title contenders for SEC & National Championships.

Actually the announcement has been breaking news across national media outlets like ESPN, Overtime Select, Rivals etc for the entire morning unless your referring to on campus.
As far as program changing Tennessee around has 4 Top 10, 7 Top 20, 9 Top 30 recruits on the 2025-2026 roster. I think the entire roster right now is filled with excellent fits for the system. This staff is stacking talent.

Gabe is now at a historic program that happens to be a bigger draw for elite recruits. Add in an exciting brand of Kim ball, and this is what you get.

Huge day indeed and would be equally as huge if #9 Crittendon was to commit as well. However, itā€™s not CKC first top 5 recruit. Janiah Barker was the #3 recruit out of HS. You canā€™t talk recruiting without including the transfer portal in this era of collegiate sports.
With the huge commitment of O.Edwards, CKC in two years has added 5 Top 10 recruits in Prawl #6 via 247Sports and Mia Pauldo #9, Wolfenberger #7, Barker #3, and Edwards #2 via ESPN.
More importantly 9 recruits in the Top 30 (Spearman, Civil, Cooper, Boyd, and Whitehorn) with a total of 8 McDonaldā€™s AAs.
