Commits, Targets React to Tennessee's Overtime Victory Against Pitt

His buddy and fellow troll from another fanbase.
Slow down, everyone. Reading the board and the way people are reacting, you would think Tennessee is playing for the national championship. For any rational fan, there has to be a lot more convincing to say that Tennessee has arrived. The volunteers had to squeak out a win, in overtime, against an average Pitt team, without their starting QB. I would not exactly call that the win of the century. Now, don't get me wrong. I am not saying Tennessee fans shouldn't be happy we were able to pull off the win, but a lot of fans are acting like Heupel is the next Saban already. It's way too early to be acting like that. Cautiously optimistic is where the more clear thinking fans should be.

I am looking forward to getting into SEC play. Let's see what happens.

Who has the free time to pretend to ba a fan of another team lol.

When it appears that TN may start to get good in FB the trolls come out. Been that way for awhile now. I have to assume that they are scared of TN becoming good as it would be bad news for whom ever their team is so they try to address their fears by taking the negative approach. TN sports attracts the trolls and never understood why.

Commits, Targets React to Tennessee's Overtime Victory Against Pitt

Elite Edge Rusher Commit Chandavian Bradley- "I think it is a great win to come off of, especially knowing that they are going against another top-25 team in the country. I think all they can really do is keep pushing and keep grinding out the season. It is a long season, and I know they can thrive this year. I see them going very, very far."

Elite 2023 QB Commit Nico Iamaleava- “We are on the rise. I can’t wait to see the game against Florida!”

Elite DL Target Daevin Hobbs- "It was a very intense game. Very fun to watch. Tennessee's d-line played really good, I feel like, so I definitely had a good time watching it."

Elite CB Jordan Matthews- "It was definitely no surprise that Tennessee pulled out the win. You can never count Josh Heupel and that offense out, ever. Then, you have the defense bringing more pressure than ever before. I feel like in that 4th quarter, the Volunteers are just too much for opponents to handle!"

Prized LB Commit Jalen Smith- "I just want to say that I see the Vols coming for the top spot. Defense is looking very dangerous, and I can't wait to be a part of it."

Elite 2024 LB Target Sammy Brown- "I thought it was a great win for Tennessee. They might've made it a littler harder than it needed to be, but nonetheless, it was still a great win. Excited to see what havoc they can cause this year in the SEC."

Highly Sought-After 2024 LB Edwin Spillman- "It was a great team win. It was a really exciting game to watch!"

Coveted 2023 DL Commit Tyree Weathersby- "I am proud of them boys. I liked how they fought the whole way and didn't stop, especially against the Pitt defense. They just need to keep going and moving up in the ranks!"

Gonna be one helluva class Nation

GBO
What stands out to me:

Bradley "they"
Nico "We"
Brown "They"

Just my petty observation.

Spyre taking your money.

What is it with you and Spyre? I have no connection to them and am not sending them anything atm but if you actually have something, lay it out in its own thread and properly accuse someone with some evidence or even some tasty rumor.

But what you are doing seems, almost butt hurt.. like someone at Spyre kicked your sister or screwed your dog (or vice versa) or something. Transparency is a good thing - both for them AND you. Granted, all this used to go down in the deep dark with boosters but now it has some level of being in the open.

If Spyre is actively defrauding donors then that should be up front and center and aggressively addressed - otherwise, STFU about it because as far as I can see, Spyre is helping us get some great recruits.

We didn’t sign Jack after our big win. We won’t have a top 10 recruiting class. 15 at best. 20 most likely.
Good old Defecation5, by favorite Bammer coming through right on cue. As noted above, you are right, we have not signed anybody, at all, and neither has any other NCAA team. Verbal commits only. The earliest signing date is Dec. 21. But you know that, like you know Jack Sh*t!

Keep trying, some fool will take you seriously some day.

Nico also garnered more fan attention and support than the other recruits. If they stay committed, they’ll catch on to the Vol fever like Nico lol.

And not to be a nega, bit if Nico decommits? Some will make obvious puns at his last name.

Spyre is helping kill college football

If your complaint is that the equivalent of the Manhattan project has taken off in college football, I get it and kinda agree - but even so, I want to be sure that we end up with as many nukes as possible because once the genie is out of the bottle, you can be sure your opponents will be using them.

Even so, before NIL, Bama and others paid boatloads under the table while we stood around and whined about it. So please dont tell me you are decrying the "death of the student athelete" because that died out with leather helments. When even mediocre coaches are making ridiculous sums because the schools are making bank off of TV, its simply not feasible to expect the top players not to want some of it since they are the talent.

I'm not arguing we should be in the NIL game. I'm arguing spyre hasn't done anything except asking people on here for money. Nico is it. We are ranked pretty low. If I'm an NIL company then where are the recruits that are committing to us over Bama. But they can drive expensive toys to away football games. Go to the game on your dimes while claiming they out gathering for the mighty orange. Na, they are doing it for the big green. Texas A&M has figured out the NIL and they are not using fans money. Bottom line, Heupel will have to recruit by showing the country he can win. He's doing that. Spyre is a pyramid scheme.

You should create your own thread about this and not pollute others with something so unrelated. I think it very much deserves to be discussed. The NIL is still the wild west to be sure and who knows where the money goes, not just with Spyre but many of the various organizations. That said, we did not have any insight into what boosters used to do in the dark either. But back then they werent asking for $25 a month type donations from thousands of people. If Spyre is not doing the job that people donating for, I suspect very soon that people will begin to donate elsewhere. The same should be said for any of these orgs.

But again, be bold enough to put your own thread about it and dont post bomb other topics. It demeans your argument and makes you seem like an old homeless man muttering his rants of conspiracy as he walks by.
