Miles would make sense, especially in light of Skeeter saying in the other thread he could see this kid pulling a santos. I'm thinking that would be a reference to a recruit from TX committing to the Vols and then maybe spurning them late for a offer closer to home. I dunno if Miles has a Texas offer, but it seems to me this would be what Skeeter could have been alluding to.

Although I just saw where Skeeter said it would be a dline commit so...I dunno

perhaps a double commitment- both Alexanders. McKensie's brother was just offered and they said it might be a game changer. He is a safety.

I hope we get Miles, but I hope it's not him next week. The last thing we need is another commit who hasn't visited yet. It's bound not to stick.

Another poster just said in Miles' thread that he listed Stanford as his favorite yesterday on Rivals. Doesn't necessarily mean anything, but that and the fact that he's not visited would seem to suggest he may not be the one. I guess we'll see though.

I bet that the DL commitment that Skeeter was talking about is Darius Latham. He is a 4 star but not ranked in the top 250...so kind of under the radar, plus the other top schools he is considering are recruiting him as an OL.

It is recruiting season right? We are expected to sign a few players, you know the blind hog theory. Never thought I would see the day where we would be maybe a top twenty recruiting school. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

You just have to face the fact that we suck right now

Recruiting has always been hard at UT

Fulmer had it easy because we were winning big. Even he had trouble. I havent seen Dooley have the #35 class yet

Just relax

I demand the mods to permanently force a name change for you. Eeyorevol72 fits you better.

This guy is sticking to his guns on TOS, saying CDD flipped someone with the help of CSS. I'll believe it when I see a reputable media outlet reporting the commitment next Tuesday, but it's an interesting discussion all the same. Hope it's true. Would be nice to get momentum going.

This is another of those sort of uncreative, cut-and-paste nega-quotes that can make threads in VolNation so boring.

"Oh how the mighty have fallen" blah blah blah.

In 2008, we had a consensus #35 class. Using that as a frame of reference, the mighty must be rising, given Dooley followed two straight almost top 10 classes with another class ranked in the consensus top 20.

I really looking forward to watching UT blow NC State off the map and roll over Florida in September. Hopefully it will shut these type of posters up for a little while.
