....want to turn the channel.

That may sound weird because that is when you usually turn the channel but I'm talking about the ones that are just so god-awful that if you are watching, you must turn the channel.

I'll start with the commercial that started this rant....

#1. AVIS COMMERCIAL

This commercial is bad on so many levels. There must have been a bong going around at the "creative" brainstorming session in Avis' marketing department.

#2. KFC

I couldn't find it on Youtube, but it's the one where a guy's girlfriend is on the phone and she hand motions that she wants a bowl, layered with her favorites. Then the guy has to explain it to his friend. When I see this commercial I actually get pissed. This commercial is so bad it makes me angry. I think Avis and KFC marketing departments buy from the same dealer.

any commercial for Ovaltine grates on my nerves

the Las Vegas radio commercials featuring Tanya Roberts. she's still sexy, but I don't want to listen to her voice

Those friggin' Countrywide (I think) commercials.

Also that commercial with the guy who is trying to sell his CD to help people learn about computers. This commercial stars what I consider to be the female version of John Candy. The woman whose kid knows more about the computer than her, and she's only 3 and a half.

Auto lending commercials on the radio are horrid.

I have to agree with whoever said KFC commercials on the first page, though. All KFC commercials actually make me angry. I've had their food one time in the past year because I refuse to eat there... Because of their commercials.

My business is with Popeye's now. I SAID GOOD DAY.
