Don't like the Palardy stat of 0 for 2 with a block. Still, looks like we have some leaders moving to the front.

The defense sounds like they are behind, bad sign as defenses are usually ahead of the offense.

Don't read too much into the blocked FG, they had the 2nd team blockers out there for him. Plus, he's a true freshman, might take a few games or so to get the kinks out.

True, but maybe Poole realizes this is his shot to the NFL as there are 2-3 talented RB's behind him that want his starting position. If Poole and the other RB's can run wild this year behind an inexperienced O-line, that would take a ton of pressure off our D.

The d line is just undersized. Wilcox will earn his money this year.

I understand, but keep in mind that these undersized guys are going up against a very inexperienced line, they will see stronger and more experienced linemen in most of our games this year. I hope things work out well but it isn't a great sign.

Size is on our side as I think we average around 315 lbs across the entire starting O-line. Experience is what they are missing.

Well those inexperienced linemen are all huge, i think that's a point lost because of lack of experience. These things normally go back and forth. If it happens again and again in camp then get worried.

Not if the offense is on a second year OC and the defense is learning a completely new system...

I'm ok as long as Wilcox gets it fixed by Sept.

It will definitely be a change this year if we rely on putting up points rather than stingy defense to win games.

Is it just me or has that guy been busting big runs like this for the past two springs/summers?
Shhhhhh!!
Poole has a lot of critics on this board. They all say Poole should of never been ahead of Bryce. Lol...too funny :). Although, I notice some are starting to realize what a talent he really is. This kid is going to be a special one.
