Coming to Neyland

I for one have never been able to associate pizza with a college football game. Burgers, wings, hot dogs, that's about it for me.

Guess I'm a traditionalist.

Neither do I. I don't even know if they have pizza in Neyland (do they?). I was just listing the restaurants on the strip.

Best burger on the strip is at Gus' Goodtimes Deli. Best burger in town is at Littons.

Actually, I'm having some fun with Oscar's, due to the fact this about the 255th incarnation of that restaurant. There have been plenty of times I've been thankful to see their delivery car at 3:34 AM. I stand by my earlier comments about Mellow Mushroom.

Gus's is badass. I would eat there before anywhere else on the strip.

Stefano's, in my humble opinion, has very good pizza.

Oscar's pizza is amazing at 3:34 AM. I know. Mellow Mushroom I only go to when my parents are in town (they like it a lot), but I enjoy the pizza quite a bit.

HERE'S ALL THE KID DID: HE GOES TO CLASS, HE'S RESPECTFUL THE COOK, AND YOU SERVE HIM PIZZA?! I'M A MAN! FEED ME PIZZA! THE PIZZA IS GARBAGE AND THE COOK WHO LET IT OUT IS GARBAGE. THAT'S ALL. I NEED TO PUKE.

That sounds like a place I visited once in Amsterdam (1990) once. In a back room with a lot of smoke:shhh:…

Also the Mellow is owned by UGA grads, so there's another turnoff.

But they have a good beer selection and i like their pizza.

I worked at Stefano's for about a week. I love the pizza there, especially after the game. I like the deck at Charlie Pepper's for drinks but the food is mediocre. The Longbranch Saloon is about as anti-corporate as you can get and has a nice patio. No food but a classic bar.

I always suggest Calhoun's on the water especially for first timers. The atmosphere is great, food is pretty good, and you get to see the Vol Navy.

Hey guys, big Bama fan here. Before you start pelting me with tomatoes, I am not here to flame about the game this weekend, lolol. Looking forward to what I think will be another nail biter that could go either way. Either way, the sun will rise the next day and life will go on. My wife is a HUGE Tennessee fan, so for our anniversary next weekend, I am taking her to the UT vs USC game. I have always wanted to see a game in Neyland but never have been able to get tickets until now, so wanted to know if you guys can give me some suggestions as to parking. I saw where they run a shuttle service from Farragut High School parking lot. Is this the way to go? Also, are there any places to eat around the stadium (besides concessions). Looking forward to a great game Saturday and looking more forward to watching a game in you guys awesome stadium.
To get a "real" answer to this you'd have better luck finding out where the Ark of the Covenant is hidden. These secrets are passed down through generations. P.S. are you wearing orange to said event? I mean, it is your anniversary...I've done worse for the "evening treat".
