Half bear half cat, duh. It's like a small ferocious asian wolverine.

Well as we all should know, East Tennessee girls are half bear, the other half cat.

If everyone on this board doesn't pick up on that immediately I will be very disappointed.

Sing it with me folks....

Wish that I was on ol' Rocky Top
down in the Tennessee hills
Aint' no smoggy smoke on Rocky Top
Ain't no telephone bills
Once I had a girl on Rocky Top
Half bear, other half cat

Wild as a mink, but sweet as soda pop
I still dream about that.

I'm not trying to start anything here. I'm just interested as to an explanation of how you're a Tennessee fan, Reds fan and Steelers fan. You called us bandwagon fans?

1. Vols - Went to Gatlinburg with my dad when I was 7 years old - Fell in love with the orange and white colors and all of the stuff they had for sale. Cheered them on ever since. My dad took me to watch Heath Shuler in Neyland and also to Lexington to watch Peyton Manning vs Tim Couch. Have been to 15 games total.

2. Steelers - How can anyone honestly root for the Bengals? An owner that could care less about the city and the product he puts on the field. 2 winning seasons out of 20. Sorry - not going to ruin my sundays. At least with the Vols I know they'll turn it around. Bengals = no shot.

3. Reds - Reds always try to put a winning team on the field, might not do it all the time...but at least the ownership is committed to winning.

Hopefully, you're content now.

Lol, no offense man, but you just described yourself a bandwagon fan.

In his defense, no he didn't. If he's been rooting for the Steelers most of his life then he's absolutely not. That's the only one that's really questionable.

I can honestly root for the Bengals. I'm not a bandwagon fan. I am from Cincinnati and I love Cincinnati teams because that's what I grew up with. If the bold and underlined statement isn't a bandwagon statement, I don't know what is. If you want to be a bandwagon feel free, but don't call other people bandwagon fans.

I am from Cleveland and thus a Browns, Cavs, Indians fan. I go to UC and I am thus a Bearcat fan.

While I respect the Steelers because they put out a good ball team every year, build through the draft, and release anyone who doesn't believe in the team concept.... I will never be a fan of them. I have no affiliation with Pittsburgh, and because of that I do not see how I can root for a team I have no affiliation with.

I would describe a bandwagon fan as one who jumps on and off a team whether they are winning or losing. If you root for a team all the time, win or lose, you are not a bandwagon fan. I have been a Vol fan since the mid 60's. I cheered with them, and I hurt with them......but they are still MY team.

Of all the mascots they could have chosen, why would they pick something that's native to Asia?
At least we have a mascot that comes from this country. :)

same as Bama picking a mascot who is native to Africa :eek:hmy:

I'm from Memphis and have been a die-hard Bengals fan since '81. Some good times but mostly frustration over the years however, I stick by them win or lose! Also an Astros fan since around the same time...go figure!

Cool, Cincy came up with their mascot after listening to Rocky Top. They just couldn't be original, could they?

I'm pretty sure that is a "UNITE" club tshirt and created by UT students.

Well, you can see where I stand and have stood since (age cue!) 1967. My only dilemma would be when the Pack and Skins are facing off. i usually go with the Pack cause I was a fan of them before I was a fan of the Skins.

I grew up with Tropical Punch Koolaide, won't touch the crap now. Point is...it sucked then and it sux now.

UC education doesn't seem to be working out so well for you. Bless your little heart.
