If the Vols make it to a bowl game it is strictly a result of having a loyal fan base. In that case, I don't want to hear Brian Mauer shouting that wlthe fans have nothing to do with the program.

I think I read that Boston College is opting out of any bowl bid. I am tired of playing SEC teams and want to see how we match up with the Big 10 or ACC.

It should e more than that considering Pruitt gets $200k, and the rest of the assistants get 8.33% of their annual salary.
The article said that Pruitt's bowl bonus was waived as part of his extension back in September.

Does anybody realize that if UT goes to a bowl it will not be like a bowl of normal years. There will be no going early because of Covid. No special functions for the kids because of Covid. Kids would be stuck on campus during Christmas practicing for a game that may not even happen if one of the teams has a Covid out break. Fans can't fill the stadium so saying UT will travel well does not apply this year because Covid. These kids don't need extra practice with this staff. These kids need an entirely new staff.

and whats the point with no fans or limited capacity plus, Beldar gets a fat 200k bonus for his superb job

Same point as it is when there are fans or full capacity.

Same point as all of the bowl games, whether they be December bowls, New Years Day bowls, New Years 6 bowls, or CFP semifinals or finals.

Money.

More money for the major conferences. More money for the major universities.
