Given what I've seen so far this year, I hope "long FG attempts" are considered anything beyond 25 yards. I don't know what has happened to Lincoln, but he just isn't hitting the ball very well this year as compared to last.

hmm drunk joke. i guess if colquitt kicks one wide right no one will think its a big deal. after all the goal was there a 3 seconds ago

It would be fitting if the Fulmer Era ended with Colquitt shanking a field goal to cost us the Kentucky game.

I heard Lincoln will still get anything inside the 30, which means Colquitt kicks anything 47 yards or longer.

You know the bad part about this thread and discussion, I would rather know who should be have in there scoring touchdowns rather than which kicker is going to kick FGs. Is that bad of me to think at this point??

what about Koyano, the sophomore from Maryville? this kid was offered a full ride to MTSU to kick, but walked on at UT just because he was such a fan. I'm pretty sure he hit several 50+ in high school.
why can these kids never get on the field??

while I'm on the topic...tyler maples should get PT too. he runs a faster 40 than any other receiver on the team, and he's taller than most of them (I think). he has great hands, and considering the lack of success we've had from the WR position this year...why not??

I was wondering about Koyano as well. He has distance. I guess he just isn't getting it done in practice.

We don't let our faster WRs on the field. Paige, Maples, until recently Moore, etc.

I say give him all of them, and extra points too. I watched Lincoln in pregame and 2nd half warmup Saturday and the random path of his kicks was amazing.

Maples is only 6'1 and Koyano is probably too high during practice to perform well...at least that is how he was in high school. He DOES have the leg power though.

Let all the young guys play. The starters screw up all the time so if the younger guys did it .. it would be no different.

why bothering asking the reason Tyler Maples isn't on the field if Eric Berry only saw one play forget Maples. Really though we all know the problem, and its what has finally been mentioned as a big part of Fulmers demise. He has been loyal to upperclassmen to a Fault. Example Arian foster that dude is a joke. Creer is way faster and more gifted but because Foster is a senior he gets the nod. I definitely would rather see tyler Maples in there than Josh Briscoe after the crap he pulled.

Its a shame he is still on the team. Would have been fitting if we had an athletic director that had repremended Fulmer for keeping a drunk on the team.

There's a big difference from kicking in high school and kicking in college. They get the tee in high school, so they get more air. Kicking off the ground is a lot harder
