Sat in front of one of the guys that works with the audio at Bristol in Tampa and got a lot of cool info about what all they're doing to the track. Apparently the night after the last race they have an army of dump trucks mobilized to come in and start dumping dirt immediately. Also, apparently the cables holding up the screens are almost the same size as the ones that hold up the Golden Gate Bridge. Can't wait for next September.

Did he happen to mention if they were planning on putting bleachers/seating on the track or pit road?

a question I have is where will Debord sit, in a suite? For Kessler and his spotters sake, I hope Nike comes up with uniforms with extra large numbers on them like back in the day.

Live in Bristol close to BMS. Been to many races. Our seats are always halfway from the track and the top so basically in the middle if looking vertically. I know during pre race ceremony's the people are near impossible to see. Binoculars will help but plan on being in the crowd and watching the new video screens. Pride of the Southland has marched on the front stretch and sounded like they were 2 miles away. Going to be a huge event though!

I think I've set everywhere in Bristol outside of the boxes and can't find a bad seat. Sparta is the only track that comes close to it from an optics point of view in my experience.

I can't see them agreeing to put bleachers on the precious track. No idea how those would be anchored anyways on a 37 degree bank. And you wouldn't be able to see much from the actual lower rows with people sitting on the track or infield. I do think it will be tough to see, but most are going for the atmosphere anyways.

When I was a kid it seemed like everyone took binoculars to a game. Now not so much.. For this I'll dust off a pair, or find me some type of binocular glasses and take them with me. I reserved my seats on the first day 2 years ago. Hard to believe it's almost here.

When I went to the speedway to get tickets we were allowed to explore the facility and I went to almost every section in the track. They had the parameters for the field painted on the infield. Honestly the views from any area were much better than expected. Ill try to include a pic I snapped here in a second. The buzz around here for this game is out of this world.

It'd be neat to have the game going in the middle and a race going on the around the game at the same time!!

My mind went to Talladega Nights when I read this post......

Cal Naughton, Jr.: Hey, when you have the stereo and TV on, how do you change the volume on the stereo?
Ricky Bobby: "If you have the stereo on..." Why do you have the stereo on while you're watching TV?
Cal Naughton, Jr.: 'Cause I like to party.
