Colorized B&W Vol pics

I'm sure everyone has seen those types of pics before. Everything is in black and white except for a single object, which is usually a bright color.

I was messing around with a few Vol football pics last night, doing this with them. The orange looks great standing out in the B&W pics.

Anyone have an good football pics I can use to do something others? I'll repost them on here after I get them done. The bigger the better.

A quick google search last night yielded a few, but now many.

I prefer having just the orange colorized. Seems to have more impact IMO.

For anyone interested in doing it, it's actually extremely easy. Just download GIMP (very similar to photoshop, except free and legal), then I used this tutorial.

anybody else use gimp? looks pretty powerful ... also anybody use this tool that the article shows?

I started out on GIMP about 5 years ago, then grew up and got Photoshop.

Considering I see photoshop being used to make comical pictures of your fellow coworkers more than anything else, I'd say GIMP (seeing as it's free) will suffice for the average person.
