Does anybody follow collegiate hockey?

I never followed it very closely until the championships, but since I just started at the University of Denver, a certified hockey school, I am sort of catching the fever.

I went to a game Friday night and watched the Pioneers upset the national runner-up Wisconsin Badgers 4-2. So I'll probably stay plugged in for the rest of the year.

Any other fans?

Also, the University of Alaska-Fairbanks has the coolest sports intro video ever devised by Man:

I go to quite a few Quinnipiac games, and also follow Northeastern and Lake Superior due to family ties.

I keep up with Boston University. My uncle and cousin both graduated from there. My uncle is responsible for my love of hockey and the Bruins.

The Beanpot is an exciting tournament to watch each year. It's held the first two Mondays in February each year.

The four schools in the Boston area compete in it for bragging rights. Boston U., Boston College, Harvard, and Northeastern.

If you have Directv, they air the tournament each year on NESN, channel 628. Hockey East is a great conference.

Beanpot Classic is pretty awesome.

I wish I could keep up with it more, but there's no real teams out there that I like for me to follow. IDK, maybe I should pick a team and watch for a year.

Denver's been doing pretty well, for being mostly freshmen and sophomores. I expect they're going to be at the top of the heap for the next couple of years.

Tournament MVP is NY Ranger drafter Chris Kreider. BC will be there at the end again.

the school i graduated from (UAHuntsville) is the only school in the south to have a hockey team. They're in the same league as Air Force. They use to be solid. But since I've graduated and the coach retired they have sucked for goin on 5 years.

They're independent now, when the CHA fell apart they just assumed they'd get into the CCHA and were told to look elsewhere.

I lived in Grand Forks, ND for 4 years and still root for UND to do well. Don't really pay much attention until the post season though. It was nice back then though, we would get out of school to watch their games.

I always wanted to play for Red up at MEEECCHIGAN but I didn't work nearly as hard as I could have so I played for MTSU instead.

UMass giving BC fits in the Hockey East quarters, Merrimack looking good so far.

BC, Merrimack, and UNH all advanced, BU and Northeastern play tomorrow night to fill out the semifinals.

BC and Merrimack each give Hockey East a good shot of winning 4 national titles in a row.

Miami swarming Western, held them to 6 shots in the 1st. Broncos don't win with offense, this might get ugly.

North Dakota and Denver with 2:00 left in OT. Elite keeping on either side, great hockey.
