Layla Kiffin is the daughter of former Florida QB and assistant coach John Reaves.

I didn't understand this comment. "If you like Lane Kiffin, then you'll love Sarkisian." Why? He was less successful than Kiffin as OC, has no HC experience and doesn't have Monte or Coach O in his corner. Why would anybody love Sark and only like Kiffin as a HC?

Because Sarkisian has an 'unknown' quality about him. People will always take an unknown over a known. Look at Crompton over Ainge, etc.

I would have serious reservations about Sark. It's "unknown" to me whether he can coach anything other than QBs. USC's offense has been very inconsistent under him. It's not known for a fact if Kiffin can coach but he has a larger sample to go off of. Kiffin did a good job as OC and as a recruiter at USC. Kiffin has some HC experience to go on and Kiffin has a lot of people who have helped or are helping groom him to succeed. I just think Kiffin will be more well-rounded and have a better understanding of how to run a winning program than Sark.

I think that the "jury's still out" on both of these guys. Only time will tell. I feel that with the assistants that CLK has on his staff, especially on defense (CMK), we should enjoy immediate success. Defense wins championships! We got the best defensive mind in the business. If CLK is as brilliant as advertised with his offensive scheme, we should be able to compete anywhere against anybody! I am sooo excited about this coming season and the future of our beloved Vols!!
