Collegefootballnews.com predicts the Tigers by 7

Just like everyone was predicting the Gators by 4 TD's 2 weeks ago. This game could go either way, the strengths and weakness of both teams play against each other. I doubt we see JC throwing more then 15 to 20 passes the whole game.

If we do see Crompton winging it for more than 20 throws then Tennessee is gonna lose BIG TIME.

We have gotta keep the ball out of Crompton's hands to win these SEC matchups. Gotta get creative on offense.

We can run their d to death.. Their QB has only thrown 1 pick, but he hasn't faced a big time SEC pro style D. I say he folds too. Crompton needs to stick with little out routes and thats it. No show off stuff, especially when there is nothing to show off

I hope our secondary plays better than last weekend or comes with a similar plan as they did at Florida and our offense is able to run the ball and stay on the field. If they do, I think we have at least two picks and win this game. If not, our defense may be on the field for a long time and that isn't good for a defensive unit that is hurting and has depth problems. Does Auburn have depth issues anywhere?

Their secondary is fast but like i said think we can run all over the D line we won't have to worry about burning them we won't throw that far

If JC can pull it off, go with the dink n dunk and run the ball to death... use the 4 horsemen.... Hardesty, BB, Oku and Poole. Throw in a little Nuke action in the N-Gun(or whatever they are calling it today).... we should be ok.

If I was kiffin I would open the game with a reverse or a wheel route to B. Brown down the sideline and try to get them out of their game early...I think with Rogan being back and we actually game planning for Auburn like we did Florida will make this game a good one...
I hope Chris Todd throws the ball around...I want to see some big hits and picks from our secondary...I think after last week off getting used that they might play a little more disciplined...

I can see us getting beat by 7 unless Crompton wakes up out of his shell. Maybe Crompton is like sleeping beauty and will come out of his shell soon and lead us to a 10 win season. One can dream.

Maybe they could run a deep route and let Crompton air it out like he has done in the past. Seems like the short passes get picked off.

We tried this against Ohio, and Teague got to watch a highlight reel TD pass float 10 yards over his head.

The only success Crompton ever had throwing the ball deep was to Robert Meachem, who was good enough to fight off multiple defenders and come down with the ball.

We don't have anyone that can do that right now. Here's hoping Markeith Ambles can become a Meachem-type receiver.

Who said we were passing? Auburn won't stop the run.

We may not stop the run but we will make necessary adjustments through out the game that will force Crompton into passing situations. I think you guys are overlooking our D a bit too much.

Run it down their throats, hit some screens, swing passes, maybe get their safties to start cheating up to stop those and we can maybe get a deep route open. If at least we can get behind the defense, if he overthrows by 10 yds it won't hurt anything. I would be thrilled to just go through one game with no picks.

Crompton def needs to get his passing under control. Thats just coming from fan of CFB. Of course, you guys dont need me telling you that. We went through the same stuff last year. It was miserable.

kiffin refers to it as the pahokee package. even the package names are directed towards recruiting. i love it.
this game worries me because i think we will have to score several points to win, and i don't know if we can.

I'm hoping Auburn prepares so much for our run game that Crompton can throw up a wounded animal pass for a touchdown like he did against Kentucky last year. And the fans may be overlooking the Auburn defense, but I seriously doubt the coaches are doing the same. Predictions for this game are useless. I expect to be surprised.

Obviously they did have the flu, alot of them did. That is no joke to laugh about. That is spreading all around the country.

What makes you think we cant stop the run ? I promise you that our team will be sold out to the run, because your noodle armed quarterback couldnt hit the broad side of Neyland Stadium ....But he doesnt seem to have a hard time hitting defensive backs.

We will sell out to the run, probably stack the box, and then leave Neland with about 40,000 orange overall clad, toothless, hillbillys crying for their Mommas/sisters/cousins.
