If Tennessee and South Carolina win this weekend, it is a very good possibility they would be in Knoxville, especially if its an ESPN night game.

Yeah it depends on our game with bama and if south carolina wins also. But i doubt even if both teams win that gameday would be there.

I would imagine that if both teams win that CBS will take that game over the cocktail party. That would put gameday somewhere else.

The last time I remember them coming to Tennessee was for the UT-Miami game in '02. They were also at the '04 sec championship game, but that wasnt a home game for us.

i'd put money on Gameday being in Happy Valley for the Ohio St-Penn St. game instead of UT-South Carolina. Count on it.

If I remember right, Game Day was at UT-USC last year when it was in Columbia

that would be correct, as well as here in Fayetteville when UT visited Arky.

With Herbstriet and Ohio St. being ranked #1 now, they'll go to Penn St. over Knoxville any day.

The choices are:

A) Boston College Virginia Tech
B) USC Oregon
C) Ohio State Penn State
D) Cal Arizona State but that is a long shot and they would need a few upsets in the games above.

yeah those idiots would pick one of those games over any SEC matchup

The SEC games possible that day are UF vs Georgia and UT vs South Carolina. Neither of those games are appealing.

If they are going to UK this week, they won't go to an SEC school two weeks in a row.

Bet on one of those other games.

Won't be BC-VT because that's on a Thursday night. I doubt they go to Oregon twice in one season. Now that Cal has lost, won't be Cal-Arizona St. That leaves Choice C.

If OSU were to get upset, they would probably blow that one off, and if Penn State lost, it wouldn't look so good. I guess you are right about A. So it all depends on next week.

I sat next to Fowler on a flight to Gainesville for the 01 game and watched as he wrote out all of Herbstreit & Corso's notes & stats. Herbstreit & Corso both slept the whole way. Interesting guy, talked a ton about gambling & how "he liked the science behind it."

So all of Corso's dumb statements are really written by Fowler?:eek:lol:

I think CBS has already claimed the rights next week for UGA-Florida. I doubt very seriously they wouldn't televise that game. On their schedule its the only game that doesn't have the word 'tentative' beside of the game listing.

"The Largest Outside Cocktail Party" or whatever it's called is a lock for 3:30 on CBS.
