College Gameday

What do you expect? They are all part of the media and when a coach attacks the media they come out of the woodwork to protect their fellow media members. We shouldn't have expected anything less from ESPN though. Everyone in the media is so sensitive. Nobody told you to go into that field. They want to dish it out but can't handle it if it's sent back at them. I'm glad Butch went after them. They're all a bunch of losers trying to stir the pot.

One thing I'll say about this is (which you could extend to politics) is the media then and now think the mike gundy (I'm 40) rant made him look like a clown.

Anyone I have ever spoken to (and none are okie state people) thought it was great and was happy to see gundy give them hell.

But, it's still portrayed by the media as a big goof

You're all missing the point. Desmond Howard and David Pollack are the worst to ever be in the business.

This has nothing to do with Butch Jones.

I have found plenty of things to do other than watch GameDay for years.

Heading to the tailgate. You boys have fun.

Have fun hoss

Yeah it makes no sense to me when a coach tries to stick up for, and protect, his players the media kills him for it. If you want to be in the media, go cover politics. We don't need that crap in sports.

Leach is a wacko, but he can coach.

Winning at Texas tech and Washington state ain't easy

I'd be more than ok with him. He's a proven winner and doesn't have any major recruiting violations to my knowledge. WSU was known as the loveable losers until he got there and he completely turned them around.

It's sad and embarrassing but there is a silver lining.

Last year the media ridiculed the fan base for wanting to run Butch off after all he had done to put out the dumpster fire Dooley left behind. Now segments like this give us some cover to fire him if it comes to that.

Forgive me, I'm a fan and I hope we win the rest of the games this season (even if that means we are stuck with Butch and the most boring offense outside of the Clawfense)

This has nothing to do with Butch Jones. I just can't stand GameDay. Herbie is really the only one halfway reasonable on there.

I have found plenty of things to do other than watch GameDay for years.

Herbie was not that kind to CBJ either

I am so sick of being the laughing stock of the SEC, so much potential and talent to be wasted by a lack of leadership--but this morning on Game Day, it is clear that Butch is the laughing stock of college football. How bad does it have to get before something is done?

I think it's funny. Butch supporters blame everyone but him too. Lol.

-it's not Butch, the local media is unfair to him.
-it's not Butch, it's the Tennessee fanbase.
-it's not Butch, it's the hacks on college gameday.

Millions of people know nothing, Butch deserves better.

Y'all are like that over protective mama who babies their son too much. One day youre going to have to pop your t!t out of Butch's mouth and let him move along.

They're just piling on. Had we defended that pass and won in Florida it'd be a completely different narrative. Kick em when they're down. That's what the media does. There is only one cure for this disease. Win.

Again. I am not backing up CBJ. My only point is I personally don't care for GameDay (or really ESPN/ABC/Disney in general). I have a lot of friends who don't either.

It sucks Disney owns Star Wars now. Have to support them there (or my 9 year old son might run away from home).

Getting the wife a biscuit on way to Tailgate TN.

Go Vols!

He's in over his head. You just can't hide it at a place like Tennessee. It's not all on him. The people who do the hiring just keep hiring cheap.
